People everywhere are always looking to earn a little extra money from home. Wouldn't it be great, to not only earn extra money from home, but also do it at your convenience online? You can! There are survey companies that pay fairly well for your opinions. They are real opportunities that pay you cash for each survey you take, and it can all be done from home online.
To get started in taking surveys online, you simply have to register for survey companies, confirm your registrations in your email, and go from there. It is a simple process, and though the initial registration is very easy, it can be a little tedious as you must also fill out your personal profiles with each company (mini-surveys about you, to determine your demographic information). These profiles are important, so don't skip this part, because they are necessary to narrow down the surveys you are qualified for. It also shows you are a serious and honest person who is willing to do their part in the process.
There are also some other important issues to consider -- like how much you get paid. Some survey sites make outrageous claims about earning up to $700 week and $150 per survey. While you can get paid $150 for some types of specialty surveys and focus groups, the opportunities are not consistent. So, when you see a site that implies you can earn a full time living on taking surveys alone, you may want to run the other way. The truth is, most surveys pay between $1-$8 per survey and take 5-15 minutes of your time. There are some surveys that pay more, and there are some surveys that take a little more time, but most surveys will average out in that range. If you average out the hourly pay, however, you can see that it is not bad pay for sitting at home.
Lastly, you may notice when you go to register for some survey companies that they only offer (or mostly offer) sweepstakes for their survey compensation. Don't skip over these just because of this! Before you think I am crazy, let me tell you why. I started taking survey because I wanted to make money, not because I wanted a chance at making money, so I completely understand why people don't register for these types of companies. But, these very same survey companies also do product testing, focus groups (you know, the ones that pay $150), and also intermittently provide great paying survey opportunities. You have to register for these companies anyway, in order to receive the better paying opportunities. If you are not registered, you will likely miss out on several great-paying survey jobs.
Your best best is to being successful in taking surveys, is to find a decent free survey list (key word: free... don't pay for one), register for as many legitimate survey companies as you can, and then filter out the surveys you want to take once they come to your email. You will never be penalized for not taking a survey, but if you don't register for some companies you may be missing out. Speaking from personal experience, it is better to have all the surveys presented to you and get the chance to decide for yourself.
