We don't recommend that you sell physical products if you are new to online marketing. To be successful at marketing a physical product online, you need to possess a technical expertise that most online marketers don't possess.
On the other hand, information products are distributed by downloading them from the internet. Information products are the easiest to sell because you only have to send your prospect to the sales page of the product that you are marketing. With a physical product you have to create your own sales page, conduct all the market testing, which takes time away from marketing.
You might want to focus you marketing efforts on information products because they pay a higher commission than physical products. For example, physical products generally pay 3% - 10%, whereas, information products pay a 35% - 75% commission.
